At 5:30 am this morning, I awoke to the early morning darkness of daylight savings time amidst the continued symphonic sound of the three day Texas rain.

They say the most difficult time after a natural disaster is between the 4th and 6th months. So just imagine you and your entire city not having a home to go to, a coffee stop to meet up in, or a restaurant to eat in or simply hang with love ones.
Growing up in church, I thought the preacher couldn’t read, because he had his own personal reader. The preacher always seemed upset, because he’d let his reader know it was time to read by yelling, “READ IT!” Maybe he was upset because he misplaced his bible & no one would help him look it. 🤷🏽♂️
Why is it that we don’t reach our dreams or satisfy our “Soul Cravings?” Why is it that some of us find ourselves in the same spot week after week, month after month, or even year after year. If we set New Year resolutions we’ve fallen back into our routine or normalcy & mediocrity by month 3, if not 2.
What is it that your soul desires? Do you have things that you long to do?
I know I do. I’m ashamed to say it, but it’s been seven years that I’ have had the desire to write a few books. And to this day, I don’t have any manuscripts close to being finished.
